Each year the MSJC LGBT Initiative’s Retreat Committee plans and presents a weekend retreat for LGBTQ+ persons, their families, and allies. It is filled with opportunities for spiritual renewal, teachings of the faith, and time for building community, faith sharing, and fellowship; all with the LGBTQ+person in mind. This year’s theme is:

Being Who You Are - Perfectly Well

We’re excited to have you join us for this grace and joy filled weekend!

Bro. Mickey McGrath, Oblate of St. Francis de Sales, (OSFS) is an award-winning artist, author, and storyteller. He is a popular presenter and frequent keynote speaker at conferences, parishes, and retreat centers throughout the United States and Canada. Mickey makes deep and often humorous connections between art, social justice, and religious faith around a wide variety of themes and subjects.

Support Our Retreat with a Financial Donation!

In order to fund our efforts for our 2022 LGBTQ+ Retreat, we are hoping to raise $5000 from past participants, supporters, and friends. All funds raised will off set costs for rental fee for the retreat facility, honorarium for the presenter, and scholarships for attendees that need financial assistance.
